Nathan R. Stevens, DO
Ophthalmologist, Cataract, Refractive Surgery & Glaucoma Specialist
Dr. Stevens is an experienced ophthalmologist who specializes in simple and complex cataract surgery, refractive surgery (LASIK, PRK and Implantable Collamer Lenses (ICLS), glaucoma iStent implants and pterygium excision. Prior to joining Skyline Vision Clinic & Laser Center, he practiced comprehensive ophthalmology at Rocky Mountain Eye Center in Pueblo as well as Morledge Family Eye Clinic and Surgery Center in Billings, Montana.
Dr. Stevens attended Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois, for his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and the Pre-medical Program. He then earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. He completed his internship at the Tripler Army Medical Center and his ophthalmology residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium.
While completing his medical training, he also served active duty in the United States Army, holding the positions of General Medical Officer for two years and Staff Ophthalmologist for three years.
Outside of the office, Dr. Stevens enjoys cooking and spending time with his wife of 29 years and their three children. He also shares his professional talents by volunteering for medical mission work several weeks out of each year.
